Body stencils are the latest rage in the tanning world. When they're stuck to your skin before tanning, the stencils leave behind a cool design that's temporary and completely pain-free. All you require is a dose of UV light.
Inge Glees of John Abate International in Scottsdale, Arizona, says the line of body stencils the company launched last November is a smash success.

"We have five designs that include butterflies and our company logo," Glees says. "The stencils are hypoallergenic, so they won't irritate your skin."
To use, simply choose a stencil, then stick the gentle adhesive side to your skin. If you want to make a public statement, you can choose a visible body part such as your shoulder or ankle. If you're hoping to dazzle a private audience, you can let your imagination run wild! After tanning, discard the stencil and admire the impression left behind.
Glees says results are noticeable after one indoor tanning session, but she suggests that outdoor sun worshippers leave the stencil on their skin for a few extra sun sessions for maximum effectiveness.
