Smile Lines! Yes, even under – 30s

Doctors say that those fine crinkles at the corners of eyes or around your mouth --- “expression lines,” they call them – can appear as early as your teens. When they’re visible before about age 30, chances are they’re a manifestation of sun damage. Don’t frown about it --- you’ll only encourage frown lines! Instead,

(1) get aggressive about changing your wrinkle-including habits and

(2) Use AHAs to make those lines appear less noticeable.

Did you know that smoking damages skin almost as much as sun does? Nicotine strangles the small blood vessels in the face and over time your skin becomes oxygen-starved, lifeless-looking, and dry. Smoking also contributes to upper-lip lines forming early.

No matter what the season, SPF 15 sunscreen protection should be your everyday minimum, 20 or higher in bright, sunny outdoor situations like skiing. If you doubt your ability to be diligent about this, switch to a moisturizer with built-in sunscreen and you won't have to think about it.

Fine lines are perfect candidates for the powers of glycolic acid. A new, for instance, has been shown to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles; use both a new Perfecting Complex for Face and a new Perfect Eye Care Cream.

Tiny eye wrinkles respond well to mild exfoliation provided you don't have sensitive skin. A new Alpha Peel-Off Facial Mask does the trick beautifully.
