First of all . . . there are MAJOR differences between bags and circles . . . bags are three dimensional and usually can be gotten rid of in one of three ways:
If your bags are caused by water retention . . .
If your bags are caused by water retention . . .
- Raise your mattress so your head is higher than the rest of your body.
- Stop drinking ALL liquids two hours before bed time.
- Ease up on alcohol and salted foods.
If your bags are caused by allergies . . .
Consult your doctor for effective relief . . . like Claritin.
Stop using any and all scented products that can come in contact with your face including, but not limited to... laundry detergents , fabric softeners, perfumes, scented soaps and skin care, fragranced makeup’s and eye creams.
NEVER apply creams any higher than the tops of your cheekbones.
Take a good natural B complex everyday!
If your bags are hereditary . . .
stop wasting your money on potions and lotions and get a good surgeon to perform an internal laser blepharoplasty to remove the herniated fat that may be causing the shadows under your eyes.
HOWEVER . . .
Dark circles are just deeply pigmented areas around the eyes . . . they are flat, and are dealt with in different ways . . .
Indian women who are prone to dark circles SWEAR by RED LIPSTICK! simply apply a BIT of the lipstick on the dark circles and then apply foundation.
For less radical darkness . . . we love YSL's Touche clat, over and under foundation for a soft and natural correction.
Always remember to apply your concealer (we love Covergirl Invisible Concealer for normal circles and Max Factor Erase for deeper problems) UNDER your foundation, MATCH your skin tone or you'll look like a raccoon and always apply as LITTLE as possible to get the area covered and STILL look natural.
For SUPER coverage . . . look for extra opaque products like Dermablend and Covermark to do the job EASILY (I use them WITHOUT foundation)!
Just remember to follow the instruction exactly to get the best results!
