Winterize your Lips

As your tongue's moisture evaporates from your lips, so does some of their natural moisture. They end up drier than before.

Get it from a balm or a lipstick and make it a minimum . Use balm under or over lipstick, but be aware that, if under, it can reduce lipsticks adherence. Moisture 15 Satin Smooth Lipstick solves that problem with built-in SPF 15 sunscreen protection.

Smooth on petroleum jelly or lip balm at night to help lips retain moisture while you sleep. Bonus: you'll wake up with smooth, lipstick-ready lips.

At the same time you exfoliate your face, use your fingertips to gently exfoliate your lipline, too. This removes dry, dead and chapped skin and can improve the look of your lips.

When you apply facial moisturizer, run it over your lips, too. It may not taste great, but the extra hydration is worth it. Most important, use lipstick that keeps the moisture coming.

Moisture Satin Smooth Lipstick and Beyond Color Triple Benefit Lipstick, which repairs damage caused by the drying effect of the environment .
