The Sharp Tressed Man

This spring men's hair is trim, styled and well-tailored.

This season's style-savvy man will sport sleek, shapely hair, say the experts at American Crew, based in Denver, Colorado. Craig Hanson, Crew's creative director, opts for short to mid-length looks, which comb off the face in clean and simple lines.
"Longer hair has taken a back seat to what would otherwise be called out-grown medium lengths," Hanson says.
For a classic look, Hanson cuts clean lines around the ears and nape of the neck. While perimeter lengths vary, the interior is texturized with shorter lengths around the face, gradually extending towards the crown. The look is finished by finger styling hair with firm hold styling gel, then letting it air dry. A dab of pomade adds extra shine.
